Seeking a Qualified Teacher Governess for a rotational position, caring for an 8.5-year-old girl, with global travel involved. The schedule typically involves 2 to 3 weeks on and off, but flexibility for longer or shorter shifts and sudden changes is essential. The governess returns home during her off-shift periods.

They will only consider Candidates that have solid long-term experience as a live in or rota nanny in fully staffed homes (min 3yrs long lasting placements)!!

Job Overview:

• Ideal candidates should have a strong track record of longevity in previous full-time governess roles.
• A qualification as a primary school teacher is a must.
• Prior experience in high-profile, fully staffed households is highly valued, and applicants with multiple part-time or short-term positions will not be considered.
• Willingness to work around the clock for up to two to three weeks or longer, along with experience as a teacher nanny for 9-12-year-olds.
• Availability to work weekends, national holidays, frequent travel, and supervision of guest children during travel or at the residence.
• Experience with 24-hour shifts and familiarity with Rota positions or live-in roles.
• A continuous employment history is required, and any gaps must be explained.
• Must be prepared for last-minute travel and possess expertise in minimizing jet lag during trips.
• Excellent multitasking skills are essential for coordinating with staff in various locations, lesson planning, organization, and handling administrative tasks with minimal downtime.
• Proactive, resilient, a team player, and adaptable to varying shifts.
• A genuine love for children, combined with a firm yet fair approach and the ability to initiate and organize fun activities.
• A 'can do' attitude, a helpful nature, creativity, problem-solving skills, a calm demeanor, and a positive outlook.
• Strong primary teaching experience and comfort with standard nanny duties.
• Proactivity in anticipating needs and planning ahead.
• Proficiency in promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development and tracking educational milestones.
• Expertise in health and safety, including hygiene, nutrition, and first aid.
• Understanding and alignment with the family's values to instill and reinforce them with the child.
• Comfort working in a structured, formal environment.
• Proficiency in event planning and execution, including research, shopping, vendor coordination, decoration, designing, and program management.
• Responsible for maintaining and procuring various child-related items.
• Coordination of activities and outings for local and global travel, as well as managing daily, weekly, and monthly administrative duties.
