We are currently seeking a qualified native English speaking governess/educator/ teacher to provide care and education for an almost 4-year-old boy in Jeddah. This role is a sole charge position, and we require a candidate with a strong educational and nanny background and a deep understanding of early childhood development. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in teaching and engaging with a child of this age, skilled in implementing various curricula, and adept at creating enjoyable and educational activities. Given that their household is already fully staffed with housekeepers, a chef, and drivers, the primary focus of the governess will be on the child and his developmental needs. As part of the employment package, the family will offer a fully furnished apartment in Jeddah, and there will also be accommodation available at an alternate locations. The flexibility to accompany the family on their travels to Europe and the USA is a requirement for this position, making possession of an EU passport a significant advantage. The family resides in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and follows a moderate-conservative Muslim lifestyle. They frequently travel internationally, and you would be expected to join them on these journeys. This permanent role will commence with a three-month trial period. We emphasize the importance of maintaining an organized and structured daily schedule and encourage the use of positive reinforcement techniques for discipline. The ideal candidate should possess qualities such as politeness, adaptability to sudden changes, and be available to start as soon as possible. This position offers a long-term contract, with a minimum duration of one year, including the initial three-month trial period. The monthly salary range for this position is 5000 GBP to 6500 GBP.
