Nanny for twins

Royal nannies have many nannies with twin experience and well as nannies that have worked with multiple young children before. If a nanny’s been able to juggle twins or multiple very young children before easily, then it may be a good fit for you family. We will help you find the right fit, with the right energetic and open attitude, combined with previous twin caretaking experience and great references.

Twin experienced nannies provided by Royal Nannies will have a minimum of 5 years childcare experience caring for multiples or twin children and may also hold childcare qualifications. Most nannies are required to work full time, 8 - 12 hours a day, Monday to Friday. (standard working hours are 8am – 6pm). Twin experienced nanny may also babysit one to two nights per week, which is included in her salary. Baby-sitting is normally agreed to be taken Monday-Friday. Babysitting over the weekend should be paid extra and this rate needs to be discussed and agreed before employment commencement.

What are the duties of a Twin experienced Nanny?

All nursery duties relating to the twins. This means providing care such as playtime and age-related activities, bathing, dressing and preparing nutritious meals.
Ensure the children are active and social; for example she will organise play dates, attend baby classes, outings to the park, library etc.
Ensure that toys are clean and safe, organised and tidied away at the end of the day, and the play area kept clean and tidy.
Use her knowledge and skills to further the children's development through play. She will provide activities such as creative arts and crafts, construction play, singing, reading and other various learning opportunities.
Your twin experienced nanny is not expected to do any heavy housework, family cooking, family ironing or any other chores not related to the children, unless required and agreed in her contract

Meals

Nanny's food is provided and paid for by the employer.

Employer's responsibilities

The employer needs to provide nanny’s accommodation, food and her weekly wage. The employer is responsible for paying the nannies tax and national insurance - can be arranged via nannytax.co.uk
