Agency fees

Discover an exceptional opportunity with Royal Nannies! We offer free registration for all nannies, maternity nurses, and governesses.  Returning Clients or clients who hire a permanent nanny following a maternity nurse booking are eligible for a 10% discount on their entire booking!

UK placement fees

Permanent Placement Agency Fees will be calculated as a percentage of the agreed net weekly salary of the engaged candidate multiplied by 52 weeks (for overseas placements), or as a percentage of the agreed gross weekly salary of the engaged candidate multiplied by 52 weeks for UK placements. This is notwithstanding that the placement may be for less than 52weeks/1year in duration. All invoices raised within the European Union are subject to 23% VAT. The percentages are set out below:

  • UK Client Registration Fee: €200 per search (valid 3 months). This fee is required to open and activate the search and covers the administrative work and candidate search process. It is payable prior to interviews and is non-refundable, except where deducted from the successful placement fee.
  • Permanent Live-In/Live-Out Staff (Nannies, Rota nannies & Governesses): 10% of gross annual salary. (1month free replacement period)***subject to a minimum placement fee applicable to UK placements
  • Permanent Live-In/Live-Out Staff (Nannies, Rota nannies & Governesses): 12% of gross annual salary. (3 months free replacement period / applies to placements lasting 6 months and longer)***subject to a minimum placement fee applicable to UK placements
  • Permanent Live-In/Live-Out Staff (Nannies, Rota nannies & Governesses): 15% of gross annual salary. (6 months free replacement period / applies to placements lasting 6 months and longer + This option includes a 12-month guarantee of complimentary temporary cover in cases of illness, holidays, or other absences. The agency will provide a suitable replacement at no additional agency fee — the client is only responsible for the temporary nanny's salary.)***subject to a minimum placement fee applicable to UK placements
  • Temporary Childcare Staff (Nannies, Governesses, Night nurses and Day nurses): €50 per day. (applies to placements lasting less than 6 months) - subject to minimum placement fee!
  • Annual Membership Fee for on-call nanny services: €1,500 per year.
  • 24h Maternity Nurses (Bookings longer than 8 weeks): €250 per week.
  • 24h Maternity Nurses (Less than 8 weeks, including 8-week bookings): 20% of net salary for booking.
  • Trial Period (UK): €50 per day; minimum fee €200 
  • Agency Cancellation Fee: €1000 if offer is made and then withdrawn by the client.
  • Micro Placements (Ultra-Part-Time Roles) –  For permanent placements of 6 months or longer involving fewer than 5 days per month or a monthly salary below £500, a flat fee of £850 applies. This includes a 4-week replacement period and is exempt from the £6,000 minimum fee.
  • Contract Service and NDA: €250 excl. VAT for a bespoke contract per employee. €100 excl. VAT for use of the standard Royal Nannies contract per employee, including any amendments requested to the standard contract or to the original contract at a later stage. €200 excl. VAT for a Non-Disclosure Agreement per employee (NDA).
  • *** Minimum placement fee for UK placements – applicable to full-time and part-time contracts: £6,000 GBP
  • **** Minimum placement fee for temporary contract below 6 months in duration: 350 GBP 

 

OVERSEAS and INTERNATIONAL PLACEMENT FEES

Overseas means for clients geographicly located outside of England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. All invoices raised within the European Union are subject to 23% VAT. All agency fees must be payable in full prior to commencement of candidate. If the candidate is required to work abroad, the fees must be settled before the candidate's departure. Please note the final fee consists of the placement fee + fee for the contract - unless the contract is provided by the client

 

  • Registration Fee: €300 per search (valid for 3 months) – fully deductible from the final permanent placement fee (applicable to non-discounted fees only). This fee is required to open and activate the search and covers the administrative work and candidate search process. 
  • Permanent Staff Placement Fee: 20% of the net annual salary, subject to a minimum placement fee (1 month free replacement period)
  • Permanent Staff Placement Fee: 22% of the net annual salary, subject to a minimum placement fee (3 month free replacement period)
  • Permanent Staff Placement Fee: 25% of the net annual salary, subject to a minimum placement fee (6 months free replacement period) + This option includes a 12-month guarantee of complimentary temporary cover in cases of illness, holidays, or other absences. The agency will provide a suitable replacement at no additional agency fee — the client is only responsible for the temporary nanny's salary.
  • Temporary Childcare Staff - (Nannies, Governesses, Night nurses and Day nurses): 25% of gross salary earned during booking; minimum fee €50 per day or part of the day; payment due before booking starts.
  • 24h Maternity Nurses (Booking of 8+ Weeks): €350 per week.
  • 24h Maternity Nurses (Booking less than 8 Weeks): 25% of net salary for booking.
  • Trial Period (Pre-Permanent Placement): €500 per week or part of the week – fully deductible from permanent placement fee if same candidate is hired.
  • Meet and Greet: €200 per week or part of the week – This is an introduction Visit Fee when the nanny is not required to perform any duties, but is flying to meet the family in person - fully deductible from permanent placement fee if same candidate is hired. 
  • Contract Service and NDA: €250 excl. VAT for a bespoke contract. €100 excl. VAT for use of the standard Royal Nannies contract per employee, including any amendments requested to the standard contract or to the original contract at a later stage. €200 excl.
