Detailed description of the job

We are seeking a professional, experienced, and athletic live-in Nanny/Governess to join our family in Cairo, Egypt, starting in March 2025, for a 2-year contract. This role involves caring for two energetic boys, aged 6 and 8, with a focus on their education, development, and recreational activities. The position requires working 6 days a week, 12 hours per day, with a competitive salary ranging from £1,000 to £1,200 per week, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for two boys, aged 6 and 8, focusing on their educational, developmental, and recreational needs
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and physical activity
• No cooking, cleaning, or ironing duties—your role will focus entirely on the children

Qualifications:

• Must hold an EU or British passport
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• At least 12–15 years of experience as a nanny or governess for children in the 6-10 age range
• Athletic, active, and innovative, with a pleasant, friendly, and respectful personality

Accommodation:
This is a live-in position. You will have a private room within the house during working hours. On your days off, you will have access to a fully furnished and equipped apartment next to the house, providing you with privacy and comfort.
