Our agency is seeking a warm, experienced, and nurturing Nanny with a caring and energetic personality. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with children and can bring a positive, child-at-heart spirit to the role.

This welcoming and kind young family is based in the beautiful Jersey, Channel Islands. They have two wonderful children—an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl—who need reliable and engaging care, especially as their father will be traveling frequently over the next six months. The family also has some small pets, including a rabbit and two hamsters.

Location: Jersey, Channel Islands (JE3 8DB)
Hours: Monday-Friday plus one weekend day

• 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM & 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM

• Additional hours on Saturday or Sunday (Flexible)

• Babysitting included 4 times per month

• Flexibility is required if parents travel

Salary: £28 - 36k GPA  (negotiable for the ideal candidate)

Accommodation: En suite accommodation is available if required

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive childcare, ensuring the children are safe, happy, and engaged

• Assisting with the morning routine (breakfast preparation, getting ready for school, drop-offs)

• School drop-ins and drop-offs of children within driving distance

• Afternoon care, including school pick-ups, assisting with homework, and after-school activities

• Engaging the children in creative and educational play

• Running errands, including grocery shopping and occasional household tasks

• Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children

• Housekeeping duties - Tidying play areas, organizing school bags, and assisting with children’s laundry (a cleaner is employed)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a nanny or childcare professional

• A caring, reliable, and patient nature

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage daily routines

• A valid and clean driving license (required for school runs, approx. 15 minutes by car)

• Verifiable references from previous families or employers

• Non-smoker
