We are seeking an experienced, long-term private rota nanny, native English speaker, to support a busy family with four school-aged children. Start date is ASAP. This is a live-in role when on duty, working on a rota basis, most likely two weeks on/two weeks off or three weeks on/three weeks off (to be confirmed). The position requires a high level of professionalism, reliability, and flexibility, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into the family’s established routines. Native-level English is essential.
The nanny will provide full daily support for four school-aged children, overseeing all age-appropriate care and supervision. Morning duties will include breakfast preparation, organisation of school uniforms and equipment, and ensuring the children are ready and prepared for school. Afternoon responsibilities will commence from approximately 3:30pm through the evening and will vary according to the family’s schedule. A key part of the role is educational support. The nanny will work closely with Jay and Sammi, providing structured academic guidance with a strong focus on creative writing, comprehension, exam techniques, and interview preparation. The ability to design and implement a long-term academic and writing development plan aligned with school expectations is essential. The role will also include supporting the twins through 7+ preparation, with a particular focus on early Maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, reading, and writing foundations. Following the 7+ examinations, ongoing support will continue through daily study routines, interview etiquette, and structured weekly academic planning.
Alongside academic responsibilities, the nanny will be expected to balance learning with fun, planning engaging activities, outings, and age-appropriate play that encourage confidence, curiosity, and well-rounded development. Creating a positive, calm, and stimulating home environment is key. They are also open to reviewing nanny profiles from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Malaysia, ideally with a relatively strong educational background.
To clarify our criteria: for Asian candidates only - open to non-native English speakers. For all other candidates, native-level English is a strict requirement. They welcome applications from candidates with excellent references, a strong academic background, and proven experience delivering high-quality educational and pastoral care within private households.
