Live-In Nanny Required – Separate 2-Bedroom Cottage Accommodation

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, kind, and professional Live-In Nanny to care for their two daughters in a lovely long-term position, starting ASAP. The role is initially until the end of August 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. International travel during the family’s summer holiday in August may also be included.

Location: United Kingdom
Accommodation: Private separate 2-bedroom cottage
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until end of August 2026, with potential to become permanent
Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week (flexible)

Children:

• Girl, nearly 8 years old (attends nearby school during term time)
• Baby girl, 6 months old

The ideal candidate must have strong baby experience, including knowledge of routines, feeding schedules, and weaning.

Duties include:

• Sole and shared care of both children
• Maintaining baby routine, naps, feeding, and developmental activities
• School runs / support for older child when required
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Child-related housekeeping only (family employs a cleaner 10 hours per week)
• Assisting with family cooking / preparing healthy meals
• Supporting a calm, structured, and happy household environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years professional childcare experience
• Warm, well-spoken, professional, and genuinely passionate about children
• Able to be firm, kind, and consistent
• Strong baby/toddler experience essential
• Non-smoker essential
• Driver preferred (car provided), though not essential
• Flexible, proactive, and organised

Pets: One Maltese dog (no pet care required)

Salary: Excellent salary offered depending on experience
