Detailed description of the job

A lovely family is looking for a kind and experienced Japanese-speaking nanny to care for their 5-year-old son.

Dates: 1–4 September 2026
Hours: Approx. 9:00 am–5:00 pm (flexibility possible)
Location: St John’s Wood, London

Duties:

• Full care of a 5-year-old boy
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Taking him to local parks, playgrounds, libraries and activities
• Engaging him in age-appropriate activities

Requirements:

• Able to communicate comfortably with a young child in Japanese (native/fluent level not essential)
• Previous childcare experience
• Kind, reliable and engaging
• Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid and good references preferred
